Michelangelo Pistoletto, Ragazza che fotografa un Qr Code, 2021, Silkscreen Printing on Stainless Steel Supermirror, 250 cm x 125 cm
Girl Photographing a QR Code (2021): This work depicts a figure of a woman fixed on a mirrored surface, holding a smartphone displaying a QR code. By scanning the QR code, the viewer encounters a video of the artist accompanying visitors, illustrating the tour of his latest exhibition where he explores the integration of digital and physical experiences. The piece merges reflection, interaction, and contemporary technology, inviting the viewer to participate in the narrative of the artwork.
Through this collective exhibition a dialogue unfolds between the organic and the synthetic, where forms echo, resists, and shape one another. Across the works, material and gesture negotiate a shifting terrain between the natural and the constructed.
