Zad Moultaka’s installation “ŠAMAŠ” which was exhibited at the Lebanese Pavilion of the 57th Venice Biennial, will be showcased for the 1st time in France at the Institut du Monde Arabe in Paris.

A strange melody with trapped human voices emerges from a 1950s bomber reactor…: With “ŠAMAŠ”, a spectacular sound and visual installation, Zad Moultaka delivers a powerful plea against the barbarity of weapons.

“ŠAMAŠ, Crier la Paix” opens on December 10, 2024 at the Institut du Monde Arabe and remains on view until April 6, 2025.
