Sadik Kwaish Alfraji is part of the collective exhibition “Dining with the Sultan: The Fine Art of Feasting”, currently on view at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA).

‘A Thread of Light Between my Mother’s Fingers and Heaven’ is a multimedia installation by Alfraji in which he creates a connection between traditional and modern-day dining practices. By exploring his childhood memories, the artist visualizes and makes tangible recollections of his mother’s handmade bread.

“Dining with the Sultan: The Fine Art of Feasting”, curated by Linda Komaroff, is on view from December 17, 2023 to August 4, 2024.
