Camera Clara Prize 2025
for her work created with a large-format camera.
In her award-winning series Atlal (Ruins), Randa Mirza portrays the villages of South Lebanon, bombed by the Israeli army between August and December 2024.
The title Atlal references the opening verses of pre-Islamic Arabic poetry, where ruins and remnants serve as enduring symbols of memory and loss—motifs that continue to shape both the poetic imagination and the visual representation of Lebanon in recent decades.
