In an indirect reference to Paul Virilioʼs “Ce qui arrive” (What happens) and his concept of instantaneism, “What happened to my dreams” addresses socio-political issues of today, as a sort of assessment of the global situation, in view of the hopes a whole generation born in the fifties had for an equal, just and fraternal society.
It is a series of 32 (+2) entries and an equal number of photo-montages layering painstakingly precise handwriting onto images rendered in both black-and-white and colour.
