Fouad El Koury, a committed artist couldn’t but feel involved into what was taking place and this is during a time where he had a shaky love story. To quell his anxiety, the artist becomes the active witness of these events, and produces thirty- three photographs with texts that describe day-to-day painful moments. As a Lebanese art space, it is important for us, to present these works already displayed at Galerie Tanit Munich, the Venice Biennal and The Third Line Gallery, Dubai but still widely unknown in Lebanon. We are talking about our collective memory!
