From February 19, 2026 to March 26, 2026

Reisingerstraße 6 Rgb, 80337 München, Germany

In the exhibition Freundschaft / Friendship, Dieter Detzner brings together suspended casts of decaying roots, geometric acrylic glass columns, soot-darkened mirror drawings, and neon works. The works are distributed throughout the space, suspended, upright, or lying on the floor, without establishing a fixed order.

Relations emerge between the works that are neither stable nor hierarchical. Elements come into proximity without touching; others tip out of an assumed order. Mirrors do not reflect clearly but darken what is seen, while the neon works appear as precise placements in the space without referring to anything specific.

Friendship is not approached here as a theme or a feeling, but as a question of arrangement. The works enter into shifting relationships with one another: they move closer, lose balance, or remain separate. What becomes visible arises from these constellations and changes along with them.
