Assafina is an NGO that works with people of all ages, affected by physical and intellectual disabilities. The organization assists its beneficiaries by providing them with professional care and various services. It has also established a number of programs and activities to hone their creative skills and develop their capabilities.

The most recent of these has been a year long photography workshop with photographer and trainer George Barbari, which was followed by several field trips during which the students practiced taking photos. The results were somewhat unexpected and we have a selection of some outstanding photos which will be showcased at Galerie Tanit April 5 – 8, 2017.

A book about the exhibition is also being published by Tamyras and will be launched at the exhibition. The book was kindly sponsored by the Rotary Club.
