The blood is all over the streets.
One steps out to say that he is fed up with this way of living, with the abuse of his dignity, but nobody
answers. Bullets take care of it! A child writes on the wall an expression he heard over and over
again on the satellite channels, no one stops him. Uprooting his nails seems more useful! Youngsters
open their shirts in front of tanks, and no one considers that a human being howls for freedom.
Holes in their chests seem more eloquent !
Eloquence of blood is the only thing these people excels in: people who have no mouths except to
eat human lives, and no ears to listen to others, others don't exist !
We are now in a lake of blood ...
The trapped and wounded appeal in desperation in order to stop the murders, they're killed ! I’m not
certain that those who are killing our children realize that they are killing themselves at the same
time! And that each time they pull the trigger their bodies sink in the sand.
What does an artist do while in a lake of blood? Nothing but protest; while death awaits him. Or he
can wait for the end of the bloodbath watching his country sliding into a civil war. Or even paint to
convince himself that he is not an accomplice with the killers! And that he is on the side of hope. On
the side of the martyrs.
Anything an artist produces now will just be a nothing in the lake of blood ... Lake of blood ... Lake ...
